Hey !!!
from LHS
putting value of A as 30°
cos2A = cos2×30° = cos60° = 1/2
from Rhs
1 - 2sin²A = 1 - 1 - sin²30° = 1 - 2 ×( 1/2 )²
= 1 - 1/2 = 2- 1 /2
= 1/2
here we saw LHS = RHS hence prooved
cos2A = 1 - 2sin²A
