Someone has rightly said, “Give me the children and I will change the nation.”

A very Good Morning to everyone present here.

Today Here I am standing in front of you to deliver my speech on the topic

"THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN OUR NATION'S DEVELOPMENT"

The vision of our country lies in the hands of our youths. They are filled with tremendous and towering ambitions. The students are the real treasure of any country. They are more important for a country like India. Rightly termed YOUNGISTAN, about 65% of India’s population is under 35 years of age. The youth should be “active drivers” and not merely the “passive recipients” of development. Youth is age of discovery and dreams. Youths are fighters. They fight for problems which the world faces today. They need good morals and values to handle conflicts in a positive way. The primary role of young people is to get a good education in order to become better citizens of tomorrow.

They can become role models by leading exemplary lives. Our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, talks about visionary initiatives like Skilled India, Digital India, Make in India etc. Students can do a lot in realising this dream and making India technically sound as they have a natural instinct about the latest technology and its use.

The youth will have to be morally, mentally and physically sound and acknowledge the fact that hard work is the only key to success. They should take effective steps to eradicate social evils from our society in order to ensure healthy development of our nation.

And at the but not the least I want to say that Blessed are the young for they shall inherit the national debt.

With this I wind up my speech..

Thank you and have a nice day ahead....
