The number= 31621

The quadratic equation will be :

3 {x}^{2}  + 16x + 21

Proving,

3 {x}^{2}  + 16x + 21

3 ({100}^{2} ) + 16 (100) + 21

3(10000) + 1600 + 21

30000 + 1621

31621

Therefore, the equation is correct.

Factors.

3  {x}^{2}  + 16x + 21

3 {x}^{2}  + 7x + 9x + 21

x(3x + 7) + 3(3x + 7)

(x + 3)(3x + 7)

Therefore, the factors are

(x + 3) = 0

x - 3

and

3x + 7 = 0

3x =  - 7

x =  \frac{ - 7}{3}

Therefore, the two factors of x are -3 and -7/3
