Ok, during travelling, if the means of transportation is failed, it is very miserable especially if you are going to some important events. I had faced such a situation when I travelled by public transport.
As such kind of situation occurred only once in my entire life, I vividly remember about it. When I used to stay in a university dorm, I had to travel back to my home town to attend my sister's wedding, I guess in May 2009. So, I took a bus which usually takes approximately 18 hours to reach my destination.
However, on that day it took almost 30 hours with the help of another bus. This delay was because of a failure in the bus engine. Unfortunately, it had happened in the middle of a jungle without any repairing shops nearby. Despite flagged down for help from many vehicles, that didn't work out as it was night. There were some friends of mine with me and many other passengers. All we waited until the next bus reached us.
For me, it was a really disappointing occasion because not only it was uncomfortable for us but also I reached late for my sister's marriage.
