This question is taken from the story “The Summer of the Beautiful White Horse”. It is a short story witten by ‘William Saroyan’.
The main characters of this story are two poor Armenians boys - ‘Aram’ and ‘Morad’. Both are from a very poor family. Both have a passion for horse-riding, but their financial status is not such that they can buy a horse.
So, to complete their hobbies, Morad steal a horse. Knowing that Morad is stealing this horse Aram does not say anything and they both enjoys horse-riding.
‘Aram’ and ‘Morad’ are cousins in relation. Besides this they both are very good friend. Both belong to a tribe which is famous for their honesty. When Maourd steals the horse, then Aram does not understand that his cousin can steal a boy belonging to the famous caste of honesty. But he ignores this, he tries to enjoy the ride of horses. Both try their best to hide the horse's mystery. Both of them go out of the house with horse everyday.
However, only Morad rides a horse because he has mastered art by studying horse riding for a month before this. Aram also works hard to master the skills of horse riding. He learns horse-riding and tells Morad that until he learns to horse-ride, do not return the horse. Morad says that it can take about one year and it is difficult to keep the horse for so long. But Aram urges him to keep the horse.
