in our parent's childhood there were no internet facilities,smartphones were not available,there was a good climatic condition,electricity was not available,environment was clear and fresh,educational facilities were not as advanced as now..during their childhood there were many social discriminations between boy child and girl child,between a shudra and a bhraman. in simple words class system was practiced and the people were not open minded.there were restrictions on women going out.girls being married at an early age to a aged guy.this at present havr been reduced. this was the most drastic change between then and now... hope it helps you....
