As a result of discussion with the parents and elders, grandparents and their contemporaries, I came to the conclusion that modern society is definitely more competitive and conflict ridden than it used to be before.

This is due to the fact that competition increases with the increase in the urge for ownership of means of production. Since, there is increase in competition, people are in a hurry to gain wealth, fame and assets.

This hassle has lead minor social differences to take the form of major conflicts.

A conflict is a destructive way of resolving any problem. Modern age is facing a lot of conflicts e.g. professional conflicts, marital conflicts, caste conflicts, religious conflicts, ideological and political conflicts etc.
