Tallness of pea plant is a dominant trait, dwarfness is the alternate recessive trait. A pure tall pea plant is crossed to a dwarf one. Work out the cross to show what fraction of the tall plants inF2-generation is heterozygous.

State any one law of Mendel which can be derived from this cross.

1/4=25%=pure tall
2/4=50%=hybrid tall
1/4=25%=dwarf
The law is Mendel's Second Law: Principle of Segregation
