To find : Value

Solution:

Tan 1230°

= Tan ( 1080 + 150°)

= Tan ( 3 * 360° + 150°)

Adding or subtracting multiple of 360° does not change the value

= Tan ( 150°)

= Tan ( 180° - 30°)

Using Tanx = -Tan(180 - x)

= - Tan30°

= - 1/√3

Tan 1230° = - 1/√3
