tan^30 + tan^60
=[ tan 30 ]^2 + [tan 60]^2
= [ 1/root3]^2 + [ root 3]^2
=1/3 + 3
= 1/3 + 9/3
= 10/3.

tan 30= 1/√3
tan 60= √3

Therefore,
tan²30= 1/3
tan²60= 3

1/3 + 3= 1+9/3= 10/3
