Answer:

 \tan(a + b)  =   \frac{ \tan \: a \:  +  \: tan \: b }{1 -  \tan \: a \: tan \: b }

a = 23°. b = 22°

 \tan \: a + b \:  =  tan \: 23 + tan22

= tan 45°

= 1
