tan 2A = cot A - 18
cot (90 - 2A) = cot (A - 18)
so,
90 - 2A = A - 18
3A = 108
so,
A = 36
cot (90 - 2A) = cot (A - 18)
so,
90 - 2A = A - 18
3A = 108
so,
A = 36

Tan 2A = Cot (A-18)
_______________________________________________________
We know that Tan A = Cot (90-A)
Cot (90-2A) = Cot (A-18)
Cancelling Cot on both sides.
90 - 2A = A - 18
3A = 90 + 18
A = 108/3
A = 36°
