 (\tan(a)  - 1 )- 2cosa(tana - 1) = 0

( \tan(a)  - 1)(1 - 2 \cos(a) ) = 0

 \tan(a)  = 1 \:  \: so \: a = 45

1 - 2 \cos(a)  = 0

 \cos(a)  =  \frac{1}{2}

a = 60
