Given, Tan (a+b) = √3

( we know - tan (60°) = √3 )

=> tan (a+b) = tan(60°) --------eq(1)

And also given, tan a = 1

( we know - tan (45°) = 1 )

=> tan a = tan (45°) -----------eq(2)

Substituting eq(2) in eq(1)

tan ( 45° + b) = tan ( 60° )

45° + b = 60°

b = 15°
