Tan a+cot a=2,then find tan ^a-cot^2a

tanA + cotA = 2 (given )

then ur question. is tan²A - cot²A = ?

(tanA+cotA)²-4tanA×cotA= (tan-cota)²

(a+b)² - 4ab = ( a + b)²

2² - 4×1 = (tanA-cotA)²

4 - 4 = tan²A -cot²A

0 = tan²A - cot²A

hence , tan²A - cot²A = 0
