\bold{tan A + cot A = (sec A) (cosec A)}

=> \dfrac{sin A }{cos A} + \dfrac{cos A}{sin A}

=> \dfrac{sin² A + cos² A}{(cos A)(sin A)}

(∵ sin² A + cos² A = 1 )

=> \dfrac{1}{(cos A)(sin A)}

=> (sec A) (cosec A)
