tan A = Opposite side/adjacent side
tan A = (SinA × hypotenuse)/ (CosA × hypotenuse)
{ because you know SinA = opposite/hypotenuse and Cos A = adjacent/hypotenuse}
so , tan A = SinA/CosA
{ hypotenuse will be cancelled in both the denominator and the numerator}
Hence , tan A = SinA / CosA

sinA=parpendicular/hypotenous
cosA=base/hypotenous
so, sinA/cosA
=p/h÷b/h
=p/h×b/h
=p/b
=tanA
Don't forget to press thank u bottom.
