Given. tan theta= 1.
Since, tan theta= sin theta/cos theta
therefore, 1=sin theta/cos theta,
hence, Sin theta= cos theta.
Now, tan theta= 1/cot theta
therfore, cot theta = 1.
Since cosec² theta= 1+ cot² theta,
therefore cosec² theta= 1+ 1²= 2
cosec²theta= 2
therfore cosec theta= root 2.
Now, since sin theta= 1/cosec theta
therefore sin theta= 1/root 2
since sin theta= cos theta
therfore cos theta = 1/root 2.
Answer. sin theta= 1/root2
cos theta=1/root 2.
