tan theta = perpendicular/ Base = 3/4

hyp^2 = perpendicular^2 + Base^2

hyp^2 = 3^2 + 4^2

hyp^2 = 9+16=25

hyp = 5

sin theta = perpendicular/ hyp = 3/5

cos theta = base/ hyp = 4/5

Now

cos theta + sin theta/ cos theta - sin theta

= (4/5 +3/5)/ (4/5-3/5)

= (7/5)/(1/5)

= (7/5)×(5/1)

= 7/1
