\since \tan \theta=(Perpendicular)/(Base) ,
\therefore \tan \theta = 5/12 \implies Perpendicular=5k & Base=12k
\since h^2=p^2+b^2
\implies h^2=(5k)^2+(12k)^2=25k^2+144k^2=169k^2=(13k)^2<br />
\implies h=13k
\implies \sec \theta = Hypotenuse/Base = 13k/12k=13/12.
