and base= 4:3

therefore, ratio of perpendicular, base and hypotenus= 4 : 3 : (√4²+3²= 5)

thus

if 90°<theta<180°

sin theta = +(perpendicular/ hypotenus)= 4/5

cos theta = - (base/ hypotenus)

= -3/5

Note:-

since theta exists in second quadrant.

=> sin= (+ve)

=> cos= (- ve)
