Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

LHS=tanx+cotx

=(sinx/cosx)+(cosx+sinx)

=(sin^2x+cos^x)/sinx cosx

=1/sinx cosx

=(1/sinx)(1/cosx)

=cosecx secx

=secx cosecx=RHS

Hence proved

Hii..dude..

tan X + cot X = sex X × cosec X

Taking LHS ,

tan x+ cot x

=> ( sin x / cos x )+( cos x /sin x )

=> sin^2x + cos^2x /sinx cos x

=> 1 / sinx cos x

Now , taking the RHS

sec x × cosec x

=> (1/cos x) × ( 1/sinx )

=> 1/sinx cos x

Therefore , LHS = RHS

Hence , Proved .
