Tan60 = (tan(20+40)
√3 ={ tan20 + tan40 }/{1- tan20.tan40}
Tan20 + tan40 = √3 - √3tan20.tan40
Tan20 + tan40 + √3tan20.tan40 = √3

joshisameer343: how can you just do it.... i cant solve trigonometry
abhay022: Just because I remember the all formula and apply .. here in question we need tan40 , tan20 .. we know the value of tan60 ..And the formula of tan(a+b) ..
joshisameer343: okay
joshisameer343: but approach is hard for new problems
abhay022: Practice 50-100 problems . You will also familiar will all question and solutions. After that every problem will be easy for you. Only thing is practice nothing else.
joshisameer343: okay

Answer:

W.k.t

Tan60=√3

Tan(20+40)=√3

Tan20+Tan40/1-Tan20.Tan40=√3

Tan20+Tan40=√3(1-Tan20.Tan40)

Tan20+Tan40=√3-√3Tan20.Tan40

Tan20+Tan40+√3Tan20.Tan40=√3
