sin²A + cos²A = 1

This is a trigonometric identity.

The method for this question:-

tanA = 1/√3

we know,

tan30° = 1/√3

so, A = 30°

sin²30° + cos²30°

=> (1/2)²+(√3/2)²

=>1/4+3/4

=>1+3/4

=>4/4

=>1

Cheers!

Abhirabhi: U guys didnt answer to the question..we can use this identity to check if our answer is correct..(anyways ) but inorfer to solve this u need to find the value of A . Substitude in sin and cos and find its respective vaues and should find the answer. Anyway u will get one. But if the question was for four marks what will u do
Crystall91: listen, if th question was about ven for 1 marks i would still have answered
Crystall91: the* for* even* *mark
