Tanisha in grade 8 represents her school regularly for athletic events for three years. Her teacher and parents noticed that for the past six months she is unable to compete and perform on the field. Think of possible reasons for her weakness. Suggest the changes she needs to bring to gain strength and stamina.

Answer:

As Tanisha has been doing physical exercise for the past 3 years it cannot be possible that the lack of physical exercise is affecting the body. While physical exercise is very important it is also important to maintain a healthy and balanced diet. The lack of proper nutrients could be one of the reasons why she is feeling weak. Excess amount of junk food consumption is another reason why children specially of this age feel weak, tired or lethargic. Another reason could be the consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco illegally and at a young age. While physical exercise is very important one should not over do/ do excess amounts of anything. It is very necessary to take breaks in the middle while practising and not losing touch with the sport. To help this she should do Yoga, sleep properly, have a proper balanced diet, and regularly do some amount of physical exercise.
