Tank A is filled with water to a height of 11 cm and with a base area of 12 by 10 .The water in tank A is then poured into 2 empty rectangular tanks B and C (with a base area of 10 by 7 and 6 by 5 respectively) such that water in all the tanks are equal. first we count the amount of water=volume of tank when height is 11cm.
tank is in cuboid so the volume of cuboid = l*b*h*
12*10*11=1320 cm³
1 cubic cm = 1.32 litre
and all tank contains equal amount.
so
the amount of water in one tank= x
so total amount of water=3x
3x=1.32
x=0.44 litre
so each tank contains 0.44 litre of water.
tank is in cuboid so the volume of cuboid = l*b*h*
12*10*11=1320 cm³
1 cubic cm = 1.32 litre
and all tank contains equal amount.
so
the amount of water in one tank= x

x=0.44 litre
so each tank contains 0.44 litre of water.
