Heya !!!
Tan theta + Sec theta = m
Tan theta = ( m - sec theta)
On squaring both sides we get,
( Tan² theta ) = ( M - Sec theta )²
As we know that,
( A - B )² = (A)² + (B)² - 2AB
And,
Tan² theta - Sec² theta = 1
Tan² theta = ( Sec² theta - 1)
So,
Tan² theta = m² + sec² theta - 2× M × sec theta
Sec² theta - 1 = m² + Sec² theta - 2M sec theta
Sec² theta - Sec² theta - 1 = M² - 2M Sec theta
2M sec theta = ( M² + 1 )
Sec theta = ( M² + 1 / 2M )

Here is your answer
tan¢+sec¢ = m
tan¢ = m-sec¢
squaring both sides
(Tan²¢ ) = (m-sec¢)²
sec²¢-1 = m²+sec²¢-2msec¢
sec¢ = (m²+1/2m)
Hope it helps you ^_^
