Answer: KCl would start precipitating.

Explanation: Potassium chloride on being dissolved in water absorbs heat from its surroundings.Therefore, dissolution of potassium chloride is an endothermic process.

KCl(s)\rightleftharpoons K^++Cl^-

The forward reaction is endothermic and thus the backward reaction is exothermic. According to Le Chatelier's principle, if the temperature is decreased , the reaction will shift in a direction in which the temperature is increasing i.e. backward direction.

The solubility of salt would decrease on decreasing the temperature.Thus KCl would start precipitating.
