TAP WATER CONDUCT ELECTRICITY WHERE as distilled water doesn't. why? ​

Distilled water is a pure water and it does not contain ions while Tap water contains impurities like acid , which provide ions and they help in carrying electricity.

For electricity to travel through liquid a movement of charge must take place through the liquid. In tap water, rain water and sea water there are some impurities like salt, calcium and magnesium ions. Because these are charged when they move through water electricity flows through liquid. In distilled water there are no impurities, no ions, there are only neutral water molecules are neutral do not have charge, so distilled water does not conduct electricity.
