Tap water have ions which help them to confuct electricity from one point to another. On the other hand distilled water don't have any type of ions that is why distilled water does not conduct electricity. Ferrous sulphate crystals are light green in colour. On heating, the colour changes from light to white and on further heating, the ehute substance changes to dark brown solid. The products formed on strongly heating ferrous sulphate crystals are Ferric oxide, Sulphur Dioxide, Sulphur Trioxide. Decomposition reaction occurs in this change.
