Most of the students considered Mr. Crocker Harris hardly any human, yet they had a deep sense of reverence and appreciation towards him. He followed rules and regulations of the school quite meticulously. He did not tell students their result before the Parent Teacher Day. He was strict with his students; but he was not a sadist. He did not want his students to like him; he wanted them to make sincere efforts in learning. He gave extra-work to students who showed carelessness and made mistakes. Though he was strict, his students admired him.
