There are 2 parts in this problem

In first part, Tariq and Sajid completes the work

In second part, Sajid leaves after 2 hours. Tariq and Irfan completes the work.

First part:

Tariq and Sajid work together for 2 hours

Tariq can do a tailoring job in 6 hours.

Sajid does the same job in 4 hours.

Job - J

J1 = 2/6 + 2/4 = 5/6

Second part:

Irfan can do a tailoring job in 8 hours.

J2 = 1 - J1

= 1 - 5/6

J2 = 1/6

Sajid leaves after two hours and Irfan replaces him

J(2h) = 1/6 + 1/8 = 7/24

Therefore, the time required by Irfan and Tariq to complete the work

T2 = (1/6) ÷ ( 7/24) = 4/7

Time in minutes

= 60 × 4/7 = 34.28 minutes.

Therefore the time required by Irfan and Tariq to complete the work is

34 minutes.

The total time required to complete the work by Tariq, Sajid and Irfan is

2 hours 34 minutes 28 seconds.
