Since Tarun bought 50 boxes of eggs and each box contains 2 dozens of eggs (24 eggs). The total number of eggs he bought is 24*50 which is 1200 eggs. So after he sold 975 eggs The number of eggs left with him is 1200–975 which is 225 eggs.

2*50=100egg

1 dozen=12 egg

so

12*100=1200eggs

1200-975=225

225 eggs were left
