To Find : Which  cannot be the total number of pen, pencil, and eraser that Tarun has bought if he spent Rs. 100 for purchasing them

Solution:

Pen  bought = A

pencil bought = B

Eraser Bought = C

Total cost = 7A + 5B + 4C  = 100

7A + 4C  = 100 -  5B

7A + 4C  =5 (20 - B)

7A + 4C = 5k

=> 7A  - C  = 5(k -  C)
