Tarun goes 50 km towards the east from point A to point B. From point B,he goes 26 km towards the west along the same road. The distance travelled toward the east is represented by a positive integer. How will you represent the distance travelled toward the west? Represent his final position from point A with an appropriate integer.​

I will represent the direction towards west as negative.

towards east(+)= 50

towards west(-)= 26

therefore it should be 50-26 which is equal to 24

so he's 24 km from point A
