In case of wool the fibres are easy to separate from each other.

Explanation:

  • this is because the fabrics in case of wool is of figure density as compared to cotton and silk.
  • The  finer the fibre the more difficult it is to separate from each other. Similarly the animal on the plant fibres are more difficult to be separated from each other as compared to that of the man made or synthetic fibres. This is because of the heat produced during manufacture of such fibres.

It is easier to unrevel the knitted fabric because it is composed of a single set of yarn which is held in place in form of loops (corses or wales). You can pick thread from one corner and open the loops just by streaching it at once. While on the other hand woven fabric is composed of two or more sets of yarns intersecting each other so it is difficult to unrevel the woven fabric
