Mahatma Gandhi :
=> He was an Indian lawyer. He is considered as a freedom fighter and regarded as the primary cause of Britishers to leave India.
=> He was born on second October 1869 ( present date celebrated as Gandhi jayanti ). In Porbandar. And left all of us on 30th January 1948.
=> His wife name was Kasturba Bai . She married Gandhi in 1883 and died on 1944.
=> Gandhi lead many moments in favour of equality and good. Like Champaran Movement in 1917 , Kheda Movement in 1918 , Khilafat Movement in 1919 , Salt Satyagraha Movement , Dandi march in 1930 Quit India Movement in 1942. Among all these moments , salt satyagraha moment was one of the famous moment lead by him.

He has himself admitted in his book "experiments with truth" that he lost temper and dragged his wife out of the house. He is often referred as a racist as when he was in Africa or so.
