tatha and athwa both are conjuctions
but they have different meaning and they are used at different places

tatha means......:- auur
athwa means .....:-jabki

Actually tatha use hota h and ke place par means when we are talking about two things.
Athwa use hota h or ke place means when we have options to select one from two things.
Example =Ram tatha lakshman dono hi veer h
Aaj Apko paper mein patr Athwa niband mein se koi ek likhna hoga.
