Given :- Arun convened a meeting for 10 people .In a table 4 people can be seated, while combining 2 table, 6 can be seated .

To Find :- What is the minimum number of tables required to accommodate everyone ?

Answer :- 3 tables .

Explanation :-

Case 1) :- when 4 people seated on each table .

so,

→ 1 table = 4 people seated

→ 3 table = 4 * 3 = 12 people seated .

given that, people for meeting are 10 people only . But for 10 people also we needs atleast 3 tables .

Case 2) :- when two tables are joined .

→ In 2 joined tables people can seat = 6 .

now,

→ left people = 4 .

so,

→ for 4 people to seated , table required = 1 .

then,

→ Total table needed for 10 people = 2 + 1 = 3 tables .

Note :- [ if we assume Arun as 11th memeber , then second case will be removed and then also we needs atleast 3 tables. ]
