SGST is State Goods and Service Tax.
CGST is Central Goods and Service Tax.
When GST is applied within the boundries of a state it is called SGST. It does not matter if it is levied by Central Government because GST is levied by Central Government ONLY.
CGST is the GST applicable to the whole country.
