For one mole(35.5gm)of Cl the released energy is-3.7 eV (1ev=96.49kj/mole)

Then for 2gm of Cl released energy will be-357.013*2/35.5=20.11 KJ

So the answer is 20.11 kj

(3.7*96.49 =357.013 kj/mole

But in kcal/mole

For 35.5 gm of Cl released energy is 3.7*23.06=85.32 kcal/mole

So for 2gm of Cl released energy will be - 85.32*2/35.5=4.806 kcal
