Abraham Lincoln likes his son very much. he wants him to be a worthy citizen in the world m he appeals to the teacher to inculcate faith in his son so that he is not discouraged by scoundrels. he should know the magnamity of God which abounds with birds, bees & flowers. he should not swerve from his decision he should not follow the masses but should seek for unique decision.

Abraham Lincoln wants his son to be independent with individual ideas, no matter what/ who wants to stop him. -This is the explanation.

About Abraham Lincoln's letter:

  • The words given here are those of Abraham Lincoln written and given to his son's teacher.
  • The entire letter is so wisely written. He has written a few principles his teacher should follow in his son's growth.
  • The one given here says that the teacher has to teach his son to be individualistic in his thoughts and ideas even while others try to bring him down.
  • He says that his son must be taught to listen to others, but he must be able to filter the ones that are irrelevant or unnecessary.
  • Although Abraham Lincoln says all these are his orders, he tells the teacher to do her best at it.
  • The entire letter shows the love he has for his son.
