Teacher is not as respected in modern world as in past, is that right, or no? If yes, what is reason?

it is somewhat ryt
coz there are still some students who respected teacher a lot on the other hand there are some who misbehave with them.

I think because of students carelessness anout teachers..and parents behaviour is also a key role..
