Teacher's day speech for teacher
Answers
Answer:
In India, we celebrate Teacher’s Day on September 5, the birthday of India’s second President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was a great scholar and favourite teacher of his students. One day his students came and seek his permission to celebrate his birthday. Instead of celebrating his birthday, he suggested students celebrate his birthday as Teacher’s Day in respect of all teachers. Since then, September 5th is observed as Teacher’s Day in India.

In which he says “The purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise. Enlightened human beings can be created by teachers.” I am glad that I have many.
Today, I ..... is present here to express my gratitude to our lovely teachers on the auspicious occasion of Teachers Day. I want to start my speech by thanking all my teachers who have made me what I am today and provided their wonderful guidance to me at all stages of life.
Teachers Day is the day to honour our Gurus who contribute the maximum to our development. It is teachers who help us survive in this competitive world. They are the ones who give impeccable contribution in shaping our careers. They help in building a student' s personality and making them ideal citizens. Without teachers there is no or less enlightenment in life. They greatly impact our well being, development and growth. Apart from being the source of knowledge and wisdom teachers are the best guides and motivators. It is because of the tireless efforts of my teachers that I am able to become what I am today. I would seizethis opportunity today by extending my warm regards and gratitude to all my teachers and thanking them for their dynamic support.
Thank you.
Speech 2
Good morning to Principal, teachers and all my dear friends. Today I am here to deliver a speech on the occasion of Teachers Day. Before going any further I would like to thank my teachers and fellows for providing me an opportunity to share my views on this day in front of you all.
I want to begin my speech by marking the importance of teachers in our lives. I want to begin with defining teachers. Teachers are not confined to the four walls of the school. It may be our parents, school teachers, professors, friends, and whosoever; it can't be specifically defined. A teacher is the one, who has the prior experience, which he/she uses to contribute to our growth. It is a good teacher who can change our lives. He/she can make things easy for us, guide us, and ensure our well- being. It is imbibing strong values in a person, that makes one successful, not just factual knowledge, but everything in life as a whole. And it is only a teacher who can do that work. A teacher is the one who responds and never reacts. A great teacher is someone who will patiently teach you everything, any number of times. I am so glad and I feel so blessed that I have got such teachers in my life.
Thank you
