The sentence can be changed into indirect speech as follows:

The teacher asked that which chapter did I like the most in that lesson.

Rules of converting a sentence into indirect speech

• When we change the speech from direct to indirect, we remove the quotation marks or inverted commas.

• As the sentence in the quotation marks is in the present tense, we will change the indirect speech into past tense.
• As the direct speech reflects a question hence we use 'asked' in indirect speech.

• A sentence in indirect speech will always end in a full stop.
