Teachers day speech by chief guest:

Shri Gurubhyo Namah: Salutations to all my Gurus.  I am very happy to be here today, my Alma Mater, amidst all my Gurus and students. ‘Guru’, the Sanskrit word means dispelling darkness. They are here to guide us and bring light and clear ignorance.  My humble salutations to my Gurus.

We celebrate Teachers Day on September 5, the birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, our former President, and a very great intellectual teacher. Our teachers are our second parents. They not only teach us to read and write but teach us morals and values that stand us in good stead all through our lives. We should be grateful to them all our lives for they truly are the backbones of our society.
