TEARING A PAPER IS A PHYSICAL CHANGE IT CANNOT BE CHEMICAL CHANGE BECAUSE WE ARE NOT GETTING ANY NEW SUBSTANCE ,YES If we COULD BURN THE PAPER THEN THE ASHES ARE CALLED NEW SUBSTANCE SO IT'S KNOWN AS THE CHEMICAL CHANGE. BUT TEARING A PAPER WE ARE JUST GETTING PAPER WHAT WE TORE SO IT'S KNOWN AS PHYSICAL CHANGE .
