Answer:

Technological development has contributed to conservation of land as technology is a tool which can be used to enhance the utilization and conservation of available resources such as "land, water, minerals etc".

The process of land conservation can be broadly divide into two parts- preserving natural unused land and restoring used land to its "natural state". Technological advancements such as "non-conventional sources" of energy stop excessive usage of available resources. Industrial development leads to water, air and land pollution depleting animal and plant growth. However, if technological advancements such as filters, sensors and efficient machinery is used in industries and the waste is treated and utilized the harmful impacts can be minimized.
