GIVEN

Teena has 20 m 50 cm cloth

(1 m = 100cm)

= (20 × 100)cm + 50cm = 2050cm

4m 75cm cloth is needed to make a

curtain

= ( 4 × 100 )cm + 75cm = 475cm

SOLUTION

Length of cloth for making 2 curtains =

( 475 + 475 )cm = 950cm

So, 2525 cm cloth is needed to make

two curtains.

THEN,

Left cloth = (2050 - 950) cm

= 1100cm

So, 1100cm cloth is left with teena.
