the statement can be justified as, a lot of changes start to occur during the teen age;
the sudden upsurge in the production of hormones starts which change the body metabolism and thus changes the body features.
Such changes are new to the boy/girl and may result in irritability .
Teen-agers have thier own perspectives of observing how the world around them is....
and are often influenced by a personnel such that the dont agree with any other person even their parents' opinion about a particular topic.
Biologically it the natural tendency of teens
to be lazy or defiant at times and it is all cause of the rapid changes occuring in the body due to hormonal activity..
So teenagers are not rebellious
